Hipster Rascism →
Nice to see a name for an issue that’s been getting under my skin for a while now.  I know a couple people in particular who tend to push the “I’M PRETENDING TO BE RASCIST BUT I’M OBVIOUSLY NOT SO IT’S OK IF I SOUND RASCIST” joke so far, and use it so often, it just leaves me feeling really uncomfertable.  There’s a point when you make those witty...

This got epic.
nerbles: Kingcrow— Your tumblr page, though very artistically appealing and insanely Jesse, is equally insane in that I cannot click on an individual post to reblog/like and instead must rummage through my Dashboard to find whatever post on which I wish to comment. Much like the previous paragraph, your Tumblr page is a bit ass-backwards. I don’t expect you to do an overhaul to fix it, I just...

Home Again, Home Again
And back from the Delta.  A good time was had by all.  We devoured tamales, watched “Ernest Saves Christmas,” rubbed Wayne the Great Dane’s tummy, and  I’m now proud of owner of an old (1920s?) Gretsch banjo.  More to come later.

Off to the Delta, for a Mississippi Christmas.  No internet for a few days, so a merry Christmas and all that. When Uncle Rico shoots off a box full of discounted Alabama fireworks, I’ll launch a bottle rocket for you guys.  And yes, I do have an uncle Rico.

The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon →
My brother just told me about this.  This is siginifigant because I just heard about the Baader-Meinhof Complex (the group the phenomenon was named for)  a few a days ago.  That’s like Baader-Meinhoff squared.

Hey Brosephstalin
I don’t really know you, dude, but I couldn’t help but notice your vocal health care frustrations, and I guess I just thought I’d chip in my words of encouragement, because a lot of them echo my own. When the labor laws, first proposed by the labor unions, were implemented around the turn of the century, people cried socialism.  These are the laws that created our standard work...

Re: My rabbit killing dog.
Oh my God.  My dog is in fact not a rabbit killer.  Turns our our neighbore’s puppy killed the rabbit the other day, dug up the dead rabbit today and my dog stole it and took it to our yard.  I can not explain to you the relief I feel right now.
Dec 17th
My dog just ran into the yard with half of a rabbit in his mouth.  That is, half of one of our neighbor’s pet rabbits in his mouth.  It was the back half.  We have yet to find the head. This is all kinds of not-good. Did I mention they have several other rabbits that he’s got his eye on now?

I’m watching a cgi christmas special on TV called “The Flight Before Christmas” on TV.  So far, the plot is this:  Niko is a cheerful young reindeer who wishes to fly like his father, one of santa’s reindeer.  Or at least he thinks his father is one of santa’s reindeer, because as his mother explains to him, Niko is the product of a one night stand Niko’s mom...

Ok, so… I’ve had this idea for a play for a couple of years, and really just started working on it.  It’s set in a post-Apocalyptic Appalachia.  I have never read The Road but I am aware of it, and I’m already concerned about the superficial similarities.  Anways, sort of a running thread through the productions I’ve worked on in the past is weaving music in with the...

Ok, maybe this just speaks to me right now because I’ve been in a particularly shitty mood all day, but it sums up a lot of the frustrations (and the overall sense of helplessness) I’ve had for a while now.  And I got really emotional for some reason when I got to the last photo of the guys on the roof in New Orleans.  “The water is rising pleas” seems like a good way to...

To this end it contains a number of contributions that engage with the philosophy of internet piracy,...
